Little Scientists Magazine N.12

Cambodian engineers from Golden West Humanitarian Foundation's Phnom Penh lab are using the latest technology to help determiners clear minefields in the country. For example, they use a technology called virtual reality, which use computers to create an artificial world of images and sounds. The person using the virtual reality device can see and hear things, and move around in a virtual minefield and therefore practice removing unexplored bombs without risking getting hurt. With the development of such technologies, Cambodia is becoming a world leader in solving the problem of unexploded bombs.
